Why is a separate Level 2 electrician involved?
Your electrician may bring in a Level 2 specialist for the electricity supply work that sits alongside your main project.

01
Different parts of the same job
A Level 2 Accredited Service Provider carries out specific connection work, such as installing or altering overhead and underground service lines or energising a new or altered connection. The provider and workers must hold the relevant accreditation and network authorisations for the work.
02
Working alongside your electrician
Your electrician may manage the broader installation while Masters handles the agreed Level 2 scope. A solar installer, for example, may ask us to assess a supply alteration before their installation. Who supplies equipment, connects downstream circuits and handles each approval is confirmed for the individual job.
03
Metering is a separate arrangement
New and replacement meters generally involve your electricity retailer and its appointed metering arrangements. A Level 2 booking does not automatically book or approve every part of that process.
04
If your contractor referred you
Include their business name and job reference when you contact us. That helps us keep your information with the right project and confirm how communication should be handled.
